To our customers and community,

Our mission at Carpet Pro Cleaners has always been providing you with a superior level of clean without compromising the health and safety of people, pets or the environment. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 (Corona Virus), we want to assure you that we are dedicated to this now more than ever.

We are continuously monitoring city, state, and federal reports for developments in cases and safety requirements in order to ensure compliance with all jurisdictions and safely provide service to our customers in Durham, Franklin, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Orange, and Wake counties. For the most up-to-date information, we encourage you to follow updates on the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services COVID-19 Dashboard, found here.

While conditions are ever evolving, our commitment to natural products is still the same. The EPA has published a list of approved disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2 and several of the products have Thymol as the primary active ingredient. In terms of efficacy, thymol and bleach are both categorized as Intermediate Level Disinfectants by the CDC, yet Thymol is a non toxic, 100% plant derivative. We are boosting our standard soap-free pre-spray with Thymol for an added level of sanitization and freshness. There is also research to support the efficacy of a variety essential oils in antimicrobial applications, particularly peppermint oil, which we utilize in our services as well. Carpet Pro Cleaners continues to utilize Tea Tree Oil, Lemon Oil, Eucalyptus Oil as well. Additionally, we clean at temperatures between 225-240℉, to best achieve thermal inactivation of some viruses and bacteria.

We are stocked with a selection of more aggressive disinfectants and as always, are committed to sharing our knowledge about cleaning and selecting the best fit for the job.

All of our employees are committed to taking special precautions to ensuring a healthier environment. These include:

  • Observing social distancing protocol, as appropriate
  • Sanitizing equipment
  • Regularly washing hands
  • Using personal protective equipment- disposable gloves, shoe covers, and masks- whenever possible

These unprecedented times call for the cooperation of community in ways most of us have never experienced. At Carpet Pro Cleaners, we pledge to do our part and welcome your feedback on how we can best serve you now and in the future.

Our thoughts are with those affected. Thank you to all the healthcare professionals, public servants, and essential workers who are shouldering the burden of this difficult time and continuing to put themselves at risk. We are also grateful to our customers for supporting local business like Carpet Pro Cleaners.
